After months of wedding planning, I can hardly believe that my bridal shower came around so quickly!
We started the day with a beautiful brunch at Lucky Penny in South Yarra. Lucky Penny is a stunning light-filled space which we adorned in pink décor, lots of flowers and touches of gold.
Having munched down on lots of delicious goodies, we were in sugar-high spirits as we headed to the Princess Theatre to see Mamma Mia the Musical.
We were the noisiest in the theatre amongst the Sunday matinee crowd, as we sung along to all the ABBA hits, and shed a few tears during the touching mother and daughter scenes. My grandmother through to my youngest sister were all thoroughly entertained. It’s such a crowd pleasing musical for all ages!
It was a perfect bridal shower, and yes we did dance, we did jive, and we did have the time of our lives!
I had a Bachelorette party a week later, I’ll spare you all the details, needless to say it was a fun-filled boisterous weekend away with the gal pals.
Now bring on the wedding!
